Jakob serves as Executive Director of the Montcalm Economic Alliance. In this role, he provides business support services to prospective and existing companies in Montcalm County. Guided by the strategic pillars of people, place, and prosperity, he promotes economic and community development by attracting, retaining, and expanding business and industry in Montcalm County.

Past Experience

Before joining The Right Place full-time, Jakob spent six months as a business development intern. Before RPI, he served three years as Program Manager for the Common Ground Initiative at GVSU’s Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies. While there, Jakob used his experience in electoral campaigns to create public programming to find actionable common ground in cultural and political circles in Michigan and the United States.
